Just had a quote for £300 which seems a little steep, infact double the price of what you'd normally pay for a set of Eibachs (similar quality).

Wondering what you guys paid for them.

I was under the impression that H&R no longer made springs for the Z32, and I just checked the H&R website and they dont list the 300zx fitment, I was trying to check spring rates for comparison.

Who is the supplier that quoted you if you dont mind me asking ?

What about tein springs good quality also dont know how much lower they are.

I bought my set for around 175 EUR ...although this was 5 years ago.

Where did you get yours from? Please don't say ebay (although ebay wasn't in existance 5 years ago....I don't think...??!!)

Managed to get hold of H&R direct...... £350!!!!!!!!! Special import from Germany only it would appear.

Might be worth getting some locally over there and get them delivered to my sister's place in Munich.

bought mine directly from H&R in Germany as well.

Seems they have increased their price a little :wack:

They probably only make it on special order nowadays, as the springs for the 300 are no longer in their catalogue

Sounds about right......hmmmmmmmm, do I or don't I? Apparently, from what I've read H&R are superior over Eibach as good as Eibach are.

These are the only two that I am considering. It's such a shame that Eibach only drop the car by 20mm. Fitted to a 15 year old car, it may even be higher due to suspension sag etc.

eibach pro will drop it more than 20mm, besides there progressive, and putting lowering springs on already worn shocks, will kill the worn shocks even sooner, so might be worth going with new shocks at the same time

ps.. that front bumper trim you required was ripped on mine si, so no good mate, sorry for late reply.

Oh yeah, I am getting new shocks. Certainly not keeping the current ones. H&R are progressively wound as well.

No worries about the trim mate. :)

Si have a look at Ground control coilover kits for the 300zx. Thay allow you to drop the high to what ever you want from 5mm to 60mm. They come comeplete with a specially made Hiebach progressive spring, but they are Shocker specific. If you go for KYB's or Koni Pro Sports Shocks you end up with a filly ajustable coil over set which is superior to Tein

Just go to the Ground control shop on the web. These are $399 at the moment which is about £220 and shipping will cost about £50 + they'll mark em down to $50 to avoid duty.
