My good friend, David Boyce, username DAB1 was driving last Saturday (26th) in his 300zx, it had been raining heavily all day and he lost control of his car. The 300 went off the road and into a tree. He died from chest trauma.

I know Dave was a 300zx fanatic and loved this site, so I thought for all those who have chatted with him about misc converstions and remember him would want to know.

He genuinly was the nicest guy who I learnt a lot from and always had so much respect for, he was a father and husband. I guess please remember that you need to treat these cars with respect as they really can be twitchy in the wet; Life really can end at any moment.

Rest in peace Dave.

How terrible, our condolences go out to his family and friends, although we never met him, he seemed like a genuine lovely guy just from the threads he left on this site. A terrible loss. :(

Terrible news. Cars are our passion but you can sometimes forget how easily they can turn on you. That's the second fatal accident we've heard of in the last 7 days as a friend of ours, who was only 18, lost her life last week in a similar accident, again in the wet. Our thoughts go out to David's loved ones.
