just got my grubby mits on a set of Brembo grooved and dimpled front disks.

Anyone know which way round they go.

Sounds like another of my dumb questions but this is what i mean:

BACK--->FRONT

or

FRONT--->BACK

I always assumed that you drew air away from the hub, and also agree with rodders. but it looks like its a bit of a grey area? my rears are on the top way but have drilled going on the front when they arrive.

I asked this a couple of months ago too.

The bottom one.

Top way will eat pads more than the bottom way.

but the fact there eating means there grabbing means there stopping :)

As well as increasing the cooling area, water is forced into the channel and expelled without interfering with the braking surface between the disk and pad.

 

It has to be the bottom one.
