Use the search. I am sure I have seen this mentioned before.

The post was called "minus 86 wtf"

Thank you.. will do... I think the car has made a trip there.. not me.. pmsl

theres a temp sensor under the nose panel which is no doubt been cut or faulty ;)

I was reading the other post.. but theres no pics of what it might look like and it appears that the other person never found out how to fix it either...

kirbz... do you have a pic of it? or know what it looks like...

It makes sense that its been disrupted as i have had the front off the car and it all ripped to bits.... but i dont know where to start looking... thanks for any help bud.

yea its a gray bulb type shape 2" long bolted to bumper bar 10 mm bolt two wires coming from it to gray plug defo drivers side

Do you mind? LOL

Jon, just follow the wires from the plug which is just beside the air con cylinder.

Call me if you cant locate it.

All my aircon is gone.... but will take a look... If I have any probs pete i will call you tommorow or sat... i will post some pics of my engine bay etc... and hopefully someone can locate it for me if i need to .... or put a circle around the area to look in... thanks again...

Well its fixed to the inner part of the bumper almost directly in front of WHERE YOUR AIRCON CANISTER USED TO BE!!! :headvswal

I suppose you might refer to it as the bumper grill.

Americans?? Who needs them ?? LOL! :x:

LMAO. I will be checking again later next week..... if you Pete... or anyone else has a pic.. please pm it to me.. my car looks totally differant now... anyway enjoy the pic and thanks for your help so far.

pps the engine bis alot differant since this photo was taken

left hand side below the number plate, as you face the car, its just a connector on 2 wires, will most likely have been tucked well up into the bumper if you had your air con removed. btw, wht do you need to sort it of you dont use the air con, is the car only blowing hot?.

on your pic under the left headlamp, as you face the car it is there, directly above where the red wire is. there are 2 connectors on it, the amb temp is the black one

I will look again... thanks leg nose.. the reason for me to fix it is because I cant stand when ANY electrical item is not working.... I dont like it showing up as -86 .... I am planning on just finishing up this car then selling it on.... I cant drive it because of my back... and was planning on turning it into a drift car... or something...

But my goal is to buy a boat when this is done.. to do some fishing and lobster catching when the car is gone....

so I must fix it... I am kinda a perfectionist.... (arnt we all?? lol)

well i must be daft,.. i cant find the piggen thing anywhere... i removed that much rubbish from under the bonnet.. i really hope i didnt remove that....

I need a photo... ahh I still cant find the daft thing.. and am ready to rip out the electric thingy and throw it out the window.. ahhhhhh.

ok slightly over the top.. but a photo will help...

put your hand in the gap left of the number plate and feel left and up a bit ( i think).

the black plastic senser on clarkeys pic has 2 connecting wires coming from it, 1 orange and one white.(you cant see them on that pic)

  • Author

TY... am gonna locate it tommorow... I assume that the pic clarkey put was of the actual sensor...

I think I buggered it and removed it in my haste to remove excessive weight....

hmmm will check ..

Again HUGE thanks to everyone....

dont I feel like a donkeys butt.
