Has any1 fitted decat pipes supplied from petrolheads northwest?

The hole pattern at the turbo end seems good to bolt straight onto the precats, but the angle out would make the pipes stick out and drag along the floor!

Do the precats need removing and a separate elbow from the turbo to the decat pipe need to be fitted?

Thanks, Joel.

speak to slick pete mate, i sold him some of these not long ago (never fitted them to mine)

I have'nt seen the PHNW decat pipes, but all those that I have seen come with there own divorced wastegate downpipe elbows, to replace the stock elbows.

you need to take the precats off and they fit onto turbos, iff you pm me ile give you daves (phnw) mobile number, very decent guy

i bought a set from Dave a few months ago. great guy and quality pipes. im pretty certain that they only went back to the elbows tho and didnt replace them at all. (basically it was an easy job to bolt the pipes on as opposed to fiddling around near the turbos - although it wasnt me that did the job :o )

There is a difference between series 1 and 2 cat systems which makes the series 2 require downpipes.

theres no chance of bolting it to the downpipe... id have to raise the good a good 5" to clear the floor lol! i better find these downpipe elbows then.

Exactly, thats why you'll need the divorced downpipes. Not cheap tho!

hi mate give the firm a ring as i was told mine was a stright bolt on ??? they even show a pic of it on a car

dont the petrol heads pipes fit series 1 turbo elbows but the series 2 has to have one turbo elbow changed to a series 1 elbow ( sorry not sure which side) something to do with a extra system fitted to series 2 models i read somewhere

and short :p
