Looking at amassing some bits and peices over the winter. Amongst other thing such as new springs, shocks and what not, I want to get some adjustable front camber arms to correct the camber.

I gather the rears have adjustable camber on them. Don't want anything mega expensive, just something that will do the job. I'm only going -30mm (Eibach).

I got the £220 adjustable front camber arms from the zcentre. They do the job with fine adjustment. As per instructions i greased them to death with Castrol LM grease.

Not got them and no idea on the range of correction they offer. If they are like the ones you can get overseas then they will have enough for a 30mm drop

they actually have enough for upto a 60mm drop

The advice i generally give any customer asking about adjuatble suspension is this :-

If your car is lowered and running 16's or 17's and your 17's are not usually expensive tyres, then the shim kits available are more that capable.

If your running 18's and above and tend to go with the dearer range of tyres, then deffo adjustable upper arms for camber and tension rods for castor.

I supply only SPL and Powertrix because they are the biggest sellers in the US with great feedback, they are designed solely for the offset of the Z32 and unlike cheaper brands these come with sealand Koyo bearings to help prevent premature failure and having to ensure they are constantly greased.

Hope that helps fellas :)

How much Paul, your website is too many finger clicks away  maybe i'm just plain lazy today!

GB possibly???

I'm also just about to look into doing this, for the umpteenth time...

doddle mate, bolt straight on as a direct replacement.

wind in & out to adjust! :)

That easy? Is there a way of measuring the movement or is that something that lazer alignment will do?

set them up to the same length as the old ones then get them adjusted at a 4WA place.

luckily I have my own :p

please explain the castor adjustment... in my case i have 18's, its lowered and i go through (insides) of tyres like butter, purchasing the adjustable upper arms will solve my problem on that front but what does the castor adjustment do? thanks, joel.

oh and btw, funky si you never came to the burnin bournemouth meet last sunday

Might have something to do with the fact that a wheel bearing's given up the ghost on the Zed! LOL

castor angle is the self centreing action on the wheels (think shopping trolly wheels!), it effects stability on the road. it wont really effect tyre wear.

front upper arms gives camber adjustment

front tension rods gives caster adjustment (moves the wheel forward or back in relation to the axle centre line)

if replacing the upper arms, you want to be replacing the tension rods at the same time or the standard arms with bushes will give excessive movement & put stress on the upper arm bearings.

HTH :)
