Looking back through an old thread of mine about converting the side markers on the rear bumper to illuminated ones, just wondering, do all USA cars come with this as standard?

It's just that I might get a set posted over if they have built-in bulb holders.

Right ok...

Which cars came with them and which came without? Mine's a 91 model, has no illuminated side markers. But Si's is a G plate (90) and his comes with them, mayonaise, yours has them as well...but you've also got orange bits on your inducators...yet it's a series one....

Easy enough to do, just add a bulb holder and wire into the rear lights.

mine is a 92 jap and don't light up, just poxy red reflectors and one is cracked. I want to either replace them or fill and paint them over. don't like the red but I like Apache's

If you're still useing the 'Bulb-Out' unit, adding extra wattage to the circuit might fook it up!. I added my side marker to the number plate lamps, simple and easy to do.

did you take to bumper off to route the cables to the number plate lights?

Luke sells them , about £30 a pair , iv,e fitted chromed orange bulbs and wired mine as repeaters :hyper: :hyper:
