i think my car has developed a vacuum leak as i can hear a hissing coming from somewhere in the engine and the revs are really eratic, they keep dropping and sometimes stalling the car.

 

how will i find where it is coming from?

The best way is to purchase a boost leak tester, basically a bunk to fill up the hole where the afm is and it has a valve to inflate air pressure through, this is the only recognised way top be sure you find all of the leaks.

 

Think someone on here was selling them.

also there are some serious electircal problems with my car...

 

the 'lights' light is on, on my dash and the stock boost guage has stopped working, also the battery light is on which means i have a circuit problem...

 

Now...when slightly put my foot on the throttle and hold it there, the battery light and the 'Lights' light goes off and the boost guage goes on again! also it makes this really wierd buzzing sound when i do. completely bizarre.

 

is there anyone who can help me with this electrical problem?

spray wd40 on all the hoses and joints,around ballance bar tee pieces and vacume lines then when rpm rises thats the offending item :)
