oh jason and co are legends as they stayed behind and fixed ChrisC car that arrived on flat bed last night instead of having a holiday and having lunch and stuff.

Wow ,eventful days then! How did your cars do on the track? and how hard is the track to drive for someone who hasn't seen it before? I'm really up for doing a trip now.

Dave

Stop Posting! I dont want to hear anything! Abosultly gutted I had to pull out at the last second, Glad everyone is ok. Back at the Ring 2morrow ?##

One of the things said about the ring is that no matter what car you are in, and no matter how good a driver you think you are.....you will be pissed on all over by Much lesser cars if its your first/2nd/3rd time there!

for anyone local that knows the track

then they will always piss on you

didnt that woman do it in 9 mins in a tranny van ??

Her name was Sabine Schmit(sp). On the Top Gear episode where JC did a 9.59 lap in the Jag diesel she said she could go faster in a van, however she didnt manage to beat his time as she said it was just to dangerous. I cant remember her time of the top of my head but it was close.

ChrisC got his Z Taxi round in 8.30 sub 9 second by the Old guy.

Ive just looked at jasons time and he did 9.28 cones to Bridge.

Most amazing thing, my O2 sensors have started to work after 3 years of nothing. As soon as I fill up in england, blub blub glug glug cough cough. now its running rich.

Most scary momnet but most amazing feeling.

7500RPM jason said I was following him at 180mph at 5800rpm. no idea of final speed as i have Jap Clocks to 120KPH

Most scary momnet. Steering wheel coming loose at 120KPH ish.

Best night, Bruge and walking out of a club at 7am. thin getting up at 820am for breaky.

Best place for women, Amsterdam, and I dont mean the hookers.

Best feeling.

Being in your zed going round the ring where it can only truly come alive. Sory all you 1/4 mile boys missed the plot there. Listning to teh Air roar through the targas as your going through the hill section at 150+mph is just awsome and hearing teh engine roar as you exit carosell. awsome simply awsome.

But my vote is Jason gets spirit of the run for all the work he put in. Including the copious amounts of beer.

Hey Chris you might think we carn't drive your cars properly, But I went round the ring in my Volvo faster than all but Jason (in a Z TT) + the Aussy fella was an ex Formula 2 champion and raced and still is racing cars all his life. He also told me later that he'd done the Ring many many times before and the big difference in time could be made by knowing which blind brows you can nail it full gun through. This is where I suspect most of us lost the most time and just knowing this (which would come from going roung the track more than twice) could shave as much as a couple of minutes off anyones times.

All that said though the bloke was pretty amazing for his age and a true die hard Zedder. A big up for Len the man.

the old volvo did you proud mark  shame about brake discs :)
