Thinking of upgrading the suspension but can't afford struts and springs....would just like to lower the ride hide by and inch and stiffen up the suspension by about 30%.......

 

Anyone reccomend anything costs etc?

LOL!! you want to lower the suspension & uprate it but dont want to buy new shocks & springs?!?!?

thought of an angle grinder on your old springs & some blocks of wood inbetween the shocks & top mounts?? :rofl:

 

seriously, the cheapest way is prob eibach springs & KYB shocks :)

AGXs and Eibachs cost me just over £400, but Eibach have since increased their prices :rolleyes:

Am i right by thinking you can replace just the springs?

 

if this is the case then your looking at £165+vat for a set of Eibachs

you could change just the springs, but the ride and handling will be crap and it will soon wear out the dampers. you'd be much better off leaving the suspension as it is and saving for the proper set-up

Ferry Unkle Chunkle and his pie supply around,cheapest option. Unless yer got to pay for the pies.Failing that, let your tires down :) :rolleyes:
