Absolute crap. Quite why anyone would want to put strip lights under a car is beyond me.

Bung em in the bin with those neon washer jets, chequer plate matts, razor blade spoilers, stickers etc etc.

Totally your choice, but IMHO.......

They are the GAYEST things you could put on your car, well, apart from painting it 'cadburys' purple of course :D

Rich

seriously uncool.....IMO

I think that on the right style of zed they look kool but as said above for most of the zeds on here they would look Gay :smw:

But I am biast

Strapping your mums kitchen lighting tubes to the underside of your car is the uncoolest thing you could ever do to your car. NO NO NO NO & NO AGAIN!!!

 oh shite i got green ones on a switch so i can choose when to put them on i like em in green / not red or blue though they are to chavish lol

I don't care what anyone thinks to them. I have a red lights on mine and if people think they are chav or gay then so be it but their opinions won't persuade me to take them off or keep'em on.

I like 'em, its my car and they will stay until i decide otherwise.

:x: dave i do have green ones on mine cause i like them i was only joking about red / blue life would be boring if we all had the same imo

you can get away with it paul as it suits your car

I put some blue neon's on my car 300 about 2 years ago. I think they look ok, but I only ever turned them three times, all three times were at meetings or shows.

I've never actually put them on while driving as I think they look tacky and once I eventually get my car back on the road, I think I will be taking them off for good as Neons imho are a little old hat now.

I may be able to supply a pic or two with them on if it will help you make up your mind ?

personally i think it makes a car look cheap... unless its a really done up car (like 2 fast 2 furious kind)

a neon in the engine bay can be a nice touch if you can;t see the bulb and the engine is a bit blinging :D.

I've seen neons in the car itself, some very tasteful in the boot with the ice others not very nice at all in the foot wells :mac1:

It's all down to personal preference., if you like them then so be it!

As mentioned already, they can look very good in the right place and on the right car. If it's just a bog-standard one, then it'll probably look crap! It's got to have people appeal in the first place, and neons aren't going to do that, but they could add to the enhancement of the car.

My 2p worth anyway.

Oh, and hi Stuart, nice to see you on the forum again :D

Personally i wouldn't do it to my car but i found these pictures where there were neons everywhere, not sure if this car had them on the engine bay or not?Nice clean car all the same ;)

Hard to believe this car originally had door and quarter panel damage?

It still does. Those awful lambo doors have wrecked it! :x:

Looks nice apart from that and those lights.

Hmmm, that don't look too nice tbh. I thnk he has fitted them a little incorrectly, if you are gonna fit them they shoudlbe fitted to make the car look like it's glowing underneath rather than making the car look like it has a few tubs of light under it.

looks like disco night at our local working mans!! a bit too ottt!!
