I was lucky with my first MOT 2. Big relief. I've just had my insurance renewal. Norwich Union wanted to charge me £900.00... Bugger that I thought. Ended up getting a classic insurance policy, 5000 miles per year £250 excess, fully comp for my tt auto....£315.00. That's more like it!!!!! Anyone got any de-cat pipes for sale as it sounds like one of my cats is breaking up inside? At last!!!!

my old cav of very simular age failed for two years in a row for rot.

year 1 was the 16 inch slit in the bulkhead which was a pig to weld and year 2 was the rear floor pans which is also a nightmare due to fuel line positions.

 

since this is the first year i have mot'ed the Z i was expection at least one thing to be wrong.

 

nope nothing thats why i am so pleased these cars are approaching 13-15 years old and to pass a modern strict mot is fantastic IMO

 

im chuffed i dont have to lay underneth a very low car and try and weld it up or something as i fecking hate getting splatter down my neck!
