at the top of the rear window there is i little aerial.

Does anyone know what this is and what it's actually for?

Thats not standard ! Thats an extra aerial somebody has fitted to yours, probably for a mobile phone.

 

The zed does have two aerials, but the other one is not visible as its built into the rear screen heater filaments.

I had 2, one fell off. Mine were for the tv/dvd player which was already fitted. I was told it was so i could get reception on the tv, never worked tho.

I have one on my rear window, i always assumed nissan put it there to plug into mobile phones or something

The second aerial is for low reception areas and is part of the two connections on the back of my import aerial lead

That looks like a phone aerial to me.....

Oh that type of ariel... In that case mate I defo have not a clue what thats there for as I have only seen those types for mobile phones and navigation devices. Take off all the trim and follow the wire back to see where it go's?? lol

That ebay zed's areial uses the hole for the washer jet.

It's deffo aftermarket. Mine was connected to a handsfree kit which has now been junked :D I've not bothered removing the ariel tho :rolleyes:
