all im saying is the 4wd would of been usefull :p

So get a Fiat Panda Sisley 4X4 :)

Surely the fact that they handle like boats would have been more useful?

Silly Person, don't deserve a Zed, more like a Kia Pride bozo, like a Spurs supporter cheering in the Arsenal gallery, sick man IMHO

Or maybe you need to try some decent tyres mate.

When I fitted Goodyear GSD3 Eagles the handling of my ZX was totally transformed. I never once worried about very wet conditions as the car would happily press on through rain at reasonable speeds without batting an eyelid.

Worse though is the slightly damp conditions that leave the road kind of greasy. You are not prepared for it and let's face it even the 4x4 would have a hard time then.......

Now go outside and beat yourself for thinking of owning a GTO

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

twice! :x:

oy breast lover what are you doing out in the rain in the zed anyway,i hope you were saving water,,or you can show us all some nice breast so we can forgive you

am i the only lunatic that will stick up for retro? simple answer is, yes... the likes of a 4wd beast is gonna tear us up round the corners, especially in the wet! so if your nailing it round corners and afraid your gonna die, you should either slow down... or buy a 4wd monster! however, what i cannot condone is the fact you mentioned wanting a gto! :hurl: ... grale or a short sport quattro all the way

other than that retro, stick to straight lines :smash:

you will be wanting gloves that are attached at each end with a string so that when you put them through the sleeves of your anorack you wont lose them lol

is there anyone from this site near retro, just that i think he may need his hot water bottle topping up for bed

Maybe if he said a nissan Pulsar we would of agreed but stupid Ideas are not welcome

GTO  ]

NO NO NO

Greasy roads scare the crap out of me. But i have these Jap Bridgestone G-grid tyres that should have been called 'Aquaplane surf board supreme'. Goodyear GSD3 Eagles are the No 1 big upgrade for me. Zedworld have commented mine is light at the back. Im thinking of putting some heavy bags of aggregate in the back lol.

Lol. I think you will find it was a barge. I use to say that myself, then i bought one !!!!!!!!!!! :wack:

Got to ask on a serious note that i have often heard that the 300 is a bit of a handful in the wet stuff. I have owned several rwd motors including a capri so am used to going round and round so to speak. Never had mine out in the wet! So when Jeremy clarkson said "then there was the 300zx...and they just kill you" when talking about the z family leading up to the 350, are they really that bad?

If you put your foot down on a corner in a 3-400bhp car with no traction control you're going to spin, end of! Although I can understand retro, I span my Zed on the road from Penzance to Sennen when someone pulled out in front of me. The road has one of the highest fatalities in the area. I know of several people who have died on it. Saying that though, it IS great fun to drive, loads of fast tight twists for about 8miles. Very easy to misjudge though or come into a tightening corner and too high a speed, and unthinkable in the rain!

Unless you drive birds zed, i can't do sideways
