Hello,

you can I know if my turbo are dead?

Since I'e rebuilt my engine (forged piston and rod), my engine is making more smoke than my tyres :headvswal

I've to seperate exhaust line and the one on driver (europeen) is making the smoke.

My car is still running really great and powerfull. My admission is dry (o trace of oil).

What can it be please?

check your head gasket Bubuche , is there any emulsification of the oil a grey waxey slime in the water and oil .....how is your running temp ???

Is it smoking all the time? and worse on over run = fooked turbo oil seals

or is it smoking just when you set off and when your foot comes off the gas. = fooked Valve stem guide seals

Or is it smoking at over 3000 rpm and while you have your foot in the gas hard= Broken piston or rings

Have you installed bigger injectors? or had your injectors out off the fuel rail to be sevices?

If so check your oil levels and smell the oil on your dip stick. If it smells of petrol you may have split injector seals and be over fueling. It is easy to damage the injector seal rings when reinstalling. If it does smell of petrol take the plugs out and get some one to turn her over (cover their eye with goggles) if you've split a injector ring this way you'll know which one. Remove and re install with new top and bottom seals + plenyt off oil so it doesn't snag again.

If you have an over fueling problem because if a split injector seal then I suggest you replace the rings on that piston as the feul boar washes and wears the rings away so fast its un true.

Oil gasket looks good.

I will take compression this saturday

yep best idea compression test bud

I'm lost with this car.

My exhaust is seperated in two line. I have remove the H pipe.

Before it was only the driver side that was smoking a lot and I'm just back from 500 kms and the driver side was not moking at all but the other side was smoking a lot !!!

i really don't understand!

when installing rings were you sure that you staggered rings at 120degree intervals and that the ring gaps arent on the thrust side of the piston.also it only takes one ring installed upside down and it will cause blow by.did you have engine bored or did you hone it yourself?

I had it bored.

But why sometimes on side and sometimes another side is smoking??

OK,

so my compression are ok.

9.5:A1 on each cylinder, I did a good job with my engine rebuilt :D

But t take compression, I hve remove the balance pipe and it's looks like my problem come from here as it was full of oil and calamine.

Where thi oil can come from? EGR syteme, no?

Did you check/replace the PCV valves ?

Do you have any oil in the intake pipes going to/from the intercoolers ?

Did you also replace the valve stem seals when you did the rebuilt ?

How much oil have you put in the engine ?

No, it' completly dry

Yes I did

I've change the oil 1500 kms ago and I've put 3.5 liter with the filter changed.

Ok, you might want to have a look at (or replace) the PCV valves.

PS: a TT engine takes closer to 4ltr oil.
