Bugger!!!!!! feel for ya.

Sorry to hear that..........

First of all make sure that you tell your insurance that you were undertaking a journey that is covered on your policy. Get someone to give you a "non insurance" quote for repair so that you are in a position to negotiate with the insurance if they want to scrap it and you want to buy it back.

The main thing is nobody was hurt - the car can be sorted or replaced.

Feel for ya tho' mate........................

cheers guys will give them a ring in the morning,

what if i check about protected no claims and if i dont have it pay the extra, then report the car damaged next month is this a bad idea??

It is when you post the idea on the net :wack: Gutted for you though :(

If it helps in anyway mate. I have got a spare set of wheels with decent tyres on they are 16" 235 F and 255 R i think but if it gets you out of trouble buddy you can borrow them until you get sorted? Let me know. I am working in Chester in two weeks time so if all else fails i will bring them to work then.

They are quite nice 5 spoke just like Chunks old rims. I will also be changing my front end in a couple of weeks when the new one comes and you can have that for fook all to keep.

Vince

Gutted for you buddy. At least your o.k.

p.s. you must remember to use the edit feature........

before you ring the insurance company.. how bad is it...

you can alway pick up body kit cheap enough as long as the chassis isnt damnaged... there are loads of us that can help bud..

I for one will see if i can get it painted for you again.. at no cost apart from paint etc..

but dont call.... ask first.. honest bud.. I will try to help anyone... and everyone..

insurance is a rip off ... and you dont wanna loose your zed... if its panal damnage.. it can be mended easily.. fook the alloys for now... as long as they are not completly fooked your ok.. can be fixed..

your safe and well... pps if my back cant cope respraying the car a friend will help you as well... look on the possitive side bro.. you got good friends.

So sorry to hear this mate. Look into how muh it will cost to repair yourself. As has been said, there are lots of people here who can help with parts/time etc.

All the best bud.

Sorry to hear about this, but glad you're ok

Really gutted for you mate. I drove my zed into work for the first time since late summer and I took it so steadily. Although there's no ice/frost, the tyres are cold and the road is not at its best.

I drove like a 75 year old pensioner to work today. Just so scared of anything happening to it.

oh yeah i also have a spare original centre panel (between headlights) that you can have if you need it for free, postage costs only if it'll help...

you're a popular lad mate, you wanna be taking up some of these offers, what a great place this is...
