hi all i know its been a long time since this was posted but i'm havin trouble getting to the pipe pictured above. i've had the car on the ramp at work and i can squeeze my hand between the downpipe and bell housing and i can touch the pipe but how the hell do you get this off with the engine in cos i can't get the spring clips as they are facing the wrong way to get the plyers on is it just a case of pulling it off and if so will any piece of water pipe the same diamiter do the job with some new clips PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO DO THIS !!!!!!

Try using long round nosed pliers to gat to the other side of the pipe.

I had the same problem with the clips facing the wrong way when I did my PCV valves. :headvswal

tried them and got my arm stuck it was'nt funny at the time but i laughed about it on the way home i thouht i was gonna be swingin from the bottom of the car all weekend i'll just have to give it another try and see what happens and try and find some pipe at work cheers lads. Oh and paul i still aint seen your car i'm only down the road from you we'll have to meet up at a cruise or something cos i'm sick of sittin in the house, lol

thanks vijay and mark thats spot on i'll try and get it done at the weekend so just samco stuff will do the job then i've got some lyin about from when i done my dump valves.

You need the 8mm reinforced stuff not just the 8mm vacunm pipe.
