Is the standard one electrical or mechanical??

Mines not reading correct (what should it be for a jap TT?)

Its all over the place.

Would it be the sender or the gauge???

Or shall I put in an extra oil pressure, temp and boost gauge somewhere else??

And how the hell do you do that?? lol. Electrical or mechanical??

Anyone near Southampton thats done it???

I've been quoted by ztech 120+vat fitted.

Its gotta go in for a clutch so was going to get too.

If that will def fix it i'll just do that.

Or could just do it myself. Where can I buy one from for a Jap import TT?

the sender is located on the opp side of the engine near the turbo oil feed, bee a lot cheaper to get an after market one as they are better and are an easy mod as you just wip the old sender out and fit the new one! did mine just before crimbo

You got a link to where I can buy one mate?? Will that work on the standard gauge (jap kg/cm2)

wont work with ur standard guage mate as that is a +v sender and most (if not all) after market ones are -v dont ask me why!

spend a few hours trying to work it out myself!

i got a whole bunch of guages from e-bay, but chris has a good rep on hear and you will get a lot of back up and help from him.

if you dont want to remove your old sender then you can get a sandwich plate that fits inbetween ur engine and oil filter, it has 4 holes that you can plug oil pressure and temp senders into (would recomend oil temp as its handy and if you going to do one may as well do the other)

Hope this helps

ohh and any temp and pressure guage will work! so dont just look for ones that fit the Z, look on e-bay and you will find 1000000s!

Who is this Chris chap? How can I get hold of him.

Rather put in some better ones than pay £120+vat for a new sender that will prob poop up agian.
