well any shop that sells army stuff sells those SAS type ski masks anyway but yeah that top will probably be a hit with the chav types.

Good for driving the Zed fast when the speed cams are out :)

Be good for ugly women too

Typically it has been designed by the fookin French... :xxx:

I've taken up Karate recently cos the world has become an intimidating place to live.

You don't want to bother with all that Jackie Chan *****x. Just get an ashtray in each hand and windmill in.

NONONONONO there might be a use for this afterall... who is the most likely person to buy one of these products? Someone wanting to comit a crime, be it violent, theft or whatever! Set up a website where people can order them, allow people to buy them (and for £60 you would have to be pretty serious!!), and instead of their new hoodie arriving, they get arrested and interrogated on grounds they have no taste, style or brain?

Without wishing to be disrespectful, that isnt going to help you when someone jumps out behind you and stabs you in the back with a phillips head screwdriver 3 times. This happened in the alleyway behind my house a few years back, and the bloke said he didnt even realise he'd been stabbed until he hit the floor, so the assailant had the time to stab him 3 times first! What we all need is stab vests, motobike helmets, trousers made of the same stuff as stab vests.

Really pisses me off how bad this country has become. I was talking to my child minder yesterday when picking dylan up, she had just had her offstead inspection (and passed :nana2:) but they gave her a list of pointers. Now this is true, I have seen these written on an Ofsted letterhead myself.

i) The use of the word naughty is prohibited in ALL situations. You are not permitted to tell a child they are naughty, their actions are naughty, or that something they might do in the future could be naughty.

ii) You are not allowed to raise your voice above normal talking volume, even if the children are shouting and being boystrous. If they cannot hear you, wait until they are quiet before addressing them.

iii) It is not permitted to exclude a child from a group as a form of dicipline. This includes a 'naughty corner', 'naughty chair' and 'naughty stair'. The child must be made aware their actions are not allowed and then permitted to continue playing with the group.

Now to me the above reads:

i) If they are naughty let them carry on

ii) If they are loud, tough

iii) Dicipline is not allowed.

Now I am not a leading authority on childcare or bringing children up, but surely the complete and utter lack of dicipline is going to breed a generation 10 times worse than anything we know of now?? Apparently even if i give her written concent to dicipline my son, uf caught, she could lose her childcare licence and even face up to 24 months in prison !?!?!?!?!?!?

Apologies for thread hijack!

I've always been suspicious because every town or village I've lived in has had at least three UK or world karate champions.

A mate of mine claims to be a UK champion too. Some funny style - Honky wonky Karate or something. LOL.

I did Judo, Lau Gar and kick boxing for about 6 years in total and I'm still about as tough as a damp tea towel.

I guess if you learn the right stuff from the right people and do it for long enough it could be very, very good.

Exactly, at least if it comes down to a face to face battle then the odds are in your favour!

I think he's a bit handy!

I could be a black belt in windmilling in with ashtrays. Except we don't believe in belts. A bit like Mr Miyagi in Karate Kid. Kind of.

Oh and third dan in burning the soles of people's feet with a hot crack pipe

I'm not saying it WONT help you at all Paul, just not in some situations and I highlighted one. The trouble it most of the time, trouble like this comes from behind and is a suprise.

Sure if a gang of these chavs came at you and you were equipped with the right skills you could open a can on whoopass on them, i have no doubt about it. And no, I would not hit someone who has studyied karate, judo or whatever to prove them wrong, because I would die !!

I have a lot of respect for people who put the work into learn to use martial arts. The point i was making was that it does not make you indestructable.
