I bought a greddy timer with the profec b group buy before Christmas and I have 2 questions,

1. where do you put it so that it doesn't look just stuck on the dash?

2. a separate wiring harness came with it and it looks like a plug and play unit? There are several unconnected plugs below the steering wheel to the right, does it go there? Great if i could fit it myself :)

And sorry for being thick

OK, been searching and got some tech help but still have no idea where you peeps fit the unit itself.

I am just fitting mine today.

Have cut, very neatly, the detachable panel below the stereo.

A popular place is just to the right or left of the steering column,

on the piece of trim you have to remove to accress the bottom of the dash.

Could photo mine tomoz if its any help ?

Alan..........

I've got my boost controller & tubby timer in the spare DIN slot on the stereo.

Bit crap looking at the moment - but i'm also thinking of where to install them as i've got a 8" touch screen waiting to go into the stereo slots

Got mine on top of the steering column and it doesn't look too bad 'cos it's got a black body which blends into the dash.

I have mine under the steering column...

Have seen one fitted in place of

the clock, takes a bit of 'dremmelling'

though, think it was james300 who had

done it.

Surly you can move the boost controller over to the right more & have the tubby timer next to it on the left???

Hi mate,

Sorry for the crappy pics, but hope it helps.

Wires hanging down are from the aforementioned timer.

Just in from work and took the pics, its minus 6 already !!!

Alan.......

Should have mentioned, the reason I kept it over to the right hand side was for 2 reasons.

1. It keeps it in line with the clock.

2. Being a J spec, my fog-light switch will be going next to it.

Also I will be cleaning the pencil marks off the vinyl !!

Will take better pics if you need in the daylight with it finished.

Will also be finishing off the vinyl trim that the previous owner started !

Where did you get the assumed piece of plastic that is covered in vinyl?

looks like it fits there well, I am at a loss with what to do under the stereo as I destroyed a universal fit cubby-hole last week!

Was in the car when I got it mate.

Must be original tho, coz it is a perfect fit and has the nissan stamp on it.

I've got two stereo facias to play around with at the moment,so If I end up with a spare BOSE logo'd panel which was the original fit for the tt's, you can have it bud, may take a few weeks though.

If you're in a panic, i think the z-centre sells a blank replacement aswell :)

Cheers, I need to fit a greddy turbo timer and a greddy profec 01 under the stereo and am struggling to find a plate that will fit them both in as everyone I have seen taperes to the back.
