This is true but you must have an appointment - you can't just turn up and ask for one.

 

I had to renew mine sharpish for a business trip last year. Booked my slot at the London office, turned up with my docs, handed them in and paid £82. Two hours later I returned and collected the passport.

 

Very efficient service, especialy for a government agency :bow:

yep trips been cancelled instead im taking her to the london eye and madame tausads and a boat cruise in london somewhere??

coldnt get out of the country without my passport but travelled through france to germany then to austria back again got straight into uk passport not checked once scince leaving uk or re-entering was about 7 years ago though prolly tightened up now
