look up above the pedals, slightly to the left of the brake pedal there is a main harmess that passess through the bulkhead(this is where I passed all my cables). looking at the engine from the front then the lh sensor(yellow plug) is the feedback for the ecu the rhs sensor (black single connector) is for the dash temp guage.....I suppose you could remove this and use the aftermarket sensor ....if it'll fit in the boss. Alternatively talk to our traders about a top hose section with a boss already welded in(made mine myself)..I think I'm right in saying that most people on here fit a top hose section.

hope this helps Bud.

To use the bonnet release hole, straighten out a metal coat hanger and tape your wire(s) securely to the tip. Then from the footwell poke the hanger through the bonnet release hole and up and it should appear in the engine bay with a bit of wiggling. You may need to bend the hanger before starting to help with the general upward direction...

If it wont fit through the bonnet release cable there is another way in but its the long way around.

Take battery out and you should see a ~2" square hole go through there and you will need to unbolt and pull the wheel surround moulding so you can get your hand in. Then there is a grommit going through (not the one at the bottom the one where wires are going through) and ending up near the top left of the passenger foot suport (ecu)

hope you can follow this.

You can go through the ECU grommet on the passenger side but it again is a long way round.
