Lost (deceased) my ex-Mrs Turbo on January 30th although been split up since about July/August '04 but we'd been together for about 12 years so was gutted but the 300ZX crew were there for me. Thanks again everyone!

But on the up, had met my new Mrs. Turbo a.k.a. Jen and then found out that she was preggers plays pop in April.

Jobwise things have been good, been lucky enough to stay in good IT contracts all year and looking forward to a happy Crimbo (for a change) and an even happier New Year with the birth of our daughter...due 31st December.

Z still not been officially on the road this year but that will change next year.

What else?

Moved from Anglesey to Mold just outside Chester.

Oh and finally getting my Rotties back from the kennels this weekend, they've been in there since Heidi passed away...10 months! So am well mad for that although me Mrs. ain't as enthusiastic. LOL :D

My ex missus left me a week before last christmas just after I paid out £300 for all her kids pressies and they wern't even my kids to go back to Plymouth so that was a bit sh1tty but we're good friends again now even though she still owes me £300!!! Then finally got my Z back on Feb 12th this year with new engine and my new 360 Hybrid Turbo's and just basically been getting lashed up at the weekends and having the odd one night stand along the way!!! Ideally I would still like to find me future wife though...

bought 1st house, swapped 1200 bandit for 300zx :hyper:

bought many bits for said 300zx, had a baby boy and transit fooked up LOL

oh and turned 30 :(

Similar start to you Tim ! :(

Managed to stay in work

Car is now off road for winter ....

Blimey.......Erm........

Sold my UK 2+2 Z to Paul Stevens, bought a SWB Slicktop in a fairly rough state, spent most of the year making it better, got my fastest ¼mile time of 13.044@108.92mph on 22nd May at Santa Pod!! Blown a few gearbox's, done some BIG speeds in Belguim and on track :D in it, now off road having a ;) re-build!

Still waiting for my leg to be fixed LOL, had a very small op really early in the year, awaiting a big(ish) op any time now

Had some great times with the club this year, JAE was excellent (what i can remember) KOE, Belgium, was an eye opener LOL, but what fun was had, 180+ mph at times  excellent one guys!! :D

I've had far more ups than downs this year. But as said i'm awaiting a big(ish) op which the outcome is the BIG decider on what will finally happen (gulp)

As said, thanks to all the guys and girls that have made this year a good un for me (some lots more than others, you know who you all are :D )

Yeah I know mate! :(

Spent last Xmas and new year in Iraq... so that sucked, but came back to my B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L.L misses and asked her to marry me in Feb (and she said YES... Yipeeeee :hyper: )

Got posted upto scotland (my misses lives in glasgow so that was an ace move for me!). sold my Z then had to take her back, spent the past 3 months and just shy of 4k doing her back up!

So all in all its been a fab year and looking forward to spending christmas with my friends and family!

Put a deposit on a new house in March then got a call the same night that my step mum had just died. Spent all spring decorating and tidying my own house to put on the market.

Then on Sunday 26 June while working on the Z got a phone call, my dad had died (59 years old ffs). spent all summer doing my dads house and making all the arrangements with the estate etc.

From the begining of Autumn been trying to sell 2 houses when the market has died. My old house is supposed to be getting handed over to its new owner this friday after finally selling it, but still the lawyers are dragging their asses and nothings signed yet.

Due to a combination of moving to the new house ( with garage for the Z )and a clutch fault the Z was laid up for about 4 weeks, got the clutch fixed washed the car then drove it 2mls into town only for a woman to ram into the side of it mangaling the drivers door and front wing.

2005 has been a shit year :(

Still just had an offer put on my dads house so hopefully 2006 is going to be a whole lot better. It sure cant be much worse!!!!

This is exactly what I was looking for, to see if everyone else has had the same experiences as me over the past few years. One minute yer up and next yer in the pits again!

Chin up geezer, trust me things get better but as is with this life there are always ups and downs waiting at every turn of the corner!

Z's make life better though, well when they're out of the garage and performing! LOL :D

Yep got to keep going and try to look on the bright side, its just things do get to you a bit at times, especially the last two years for me. In an 18 month period I lost my dad, step mum, gran, two uncles and a work collegue (car crash). one of my uncles was killed in an accident at work, he was only a couple of years older than me that hit the whole family really hard !!!

But as you say thers always good times and bad times, hopefully im gonna hit some really good times now :D :D :D

Yeah I hope so mate, just when you think you've had it hard and there's always someone worse off! All the best bud.

Hmmmmm 2005......possibly the worst year of my short life for many reasons, but also the best in many other ways, which would explain the moderate attitude to this year  Seriously though, if i could go back and do some things differently this year i would jump at the chance!

Didn't mind loosing it too much though as I just wanted to make sure her kids had a good christmas because she was really skint at the time and didn't wanna see them go with out... Would have been nice to see them open there presents on christmas morning though!!! Father Christmas won't be cumming in - to her this year that's for sure!

2005 started well enough, then rapidly deteriorated, lost my wife in a car crash in June , my step daughters husband was killed in a bike accident 6 weeks ago. However both the 300zx and the SXOC were amazing and very supportive, from thier combined gift I was able to put £250 each into my childrens savings accounts, £1000 went towards funeral costs , and the rest went to my step daughter to help with her baby daughter who was born a couple of weeks ago. I have been staying with my parents since my wife passed away, whilst I clear out and rennovate my house. The zed is mothballed for a bit, and I used some of the insurance money to buy a Nissan Almera 1.4, to use as a runabout and to take the kids to school. I still managed to make it to the JAE with my daughter , which was very special for her ( only 8 yrs old). Things are still very tough, with lots of difficult memories to deal with every day. But we are pulling through bit by bit. My work has altered my hours to let me spend more time with my family, which has been fantatsic, I only hope it continues. I have been trying to get to know a young woman of recent, but only time will tell, may be a bit soon but I find good company is a great help. Looking forward to Christmas at home with my kids, and hopefully someone new . Thanks for all your support guys and gals. lets hope that 2006 will be zedtatsic.

When reading your post Kenny it just shows you that most have nothing to moan about, things will get better trust me.

Worst year of my fooking life, 18 year old son was killed on 12th of Jan

17 days after his birthday. Spent most of year keeping it together for wife and other two kids. 2 good friends have commited suicide in the past 7 weeks the last one only last week Both over WOMEN

Nothing can ever be as bad as 2005 for me.

:(

suppose its been OK, nothing spectacular has happened, and nothing terrible, fairly average you could say.

odd year its prob been my best and worst year had so many medical ailments diagnosed this year i was amazed you could get so many for so long and not know about any until you collapse......things seem to be on even keel now though so ill adopt my usual attitude of why worry about things you take the knocks and ride the storm and see whats on the other side afterwards

One of my favourite years yet......

I got a new job with V good money. I got my first 300ZX. I got married. and met you lot. Ho well 3 out of 4 aint bad...

Got the zed kitted up and looking the way i want. Done my first 1/4 run and managed best time for an NA....which lasted a couple of weeks lol

Had some good times with the girlfriend. Went to Gran Canaria, JAE etc..

Worked most of the year as a scaffolder whilst i was off uni. Came back to uni in September for my final year. Cant fookin wait 'til its finished, i gotta be honest, uni is shit!

Nearly put the zed up for sale due to how much uni is costing me. But though, 'ah fvck it!'. So the zed is here to stay...but locked up for winter at the mo.

Rangers won the 2004/2005 SPL on the last day of the season :hyper: then made the worst start to a season i can remember. (hopefully that will change tonight)

Pretty average, uneventful year i suppose

looking forward to 2006, getting away from uni and stepping into the 'real' world.

Hopefully think about buying my first house, and making the zed even better ;)
