I've had 2 of those mark ones,he certainly got the best deal as far as reliability but RUST?Stopping one of those AW11's rusting is a lifetime job itself :D

Finally got around to adding my 2ps worth.

That really is a sad, sad site. Do they really have nothing better to do than go around looking for cars that THEY don't like, then take loads of pictures of them and then slag them off? From their replies they sound very smug - like they are the ones in charge of 'good taste'. They proudly show off £2000 MX-5s and crappy old MGs and spend most of the thread picking over the use of apostrophes.

 

I can't understand why someone would stand taking pictures of someone elses car with the sole purpose of going home posting up all of them to pick through how 'bad' the car is in great detail. The bit that had me totally dumbfounded was someone saying 'yeah, it looks like it's badly maintained' ?????? How could they possibly get to that conclusion? It's obvious TOTALLY obvious that the complete opposite is true. It's weird to read a bunch of random people making comments on their opinion on a 300. The trouble with the very nature of the site is that it is completely set up for taking the piss and saying negative stuff, whatever the car is they are taking the piss out of.

 

....OK, I've just had a look at the site properly, and there ARE some nasty cars on there, but they still sound pretty smug about making a whole load of negative comments on some easy targets.
