Johnny took me out in this car last week and all I can say is it was bloody quick! LOL

It was raining and I was shitting my pants at half throttle due to the cut slick tyres.

It's running around 950 BHP at the moment! :o :D

Well if I was held at gun point and I had to choose one it would be the 34GTR,but I seriously don't like any of them enough to own one. Cant take anything away from its performance though!

i mean that turbo can produce approx 800 BHP max on full boost which is around 3 bar so running 1.75 bar is going to be what type of power??

The car in question also runs HKS custom 304 inlet and 312 exhaust cams aswell as Jun plenum and custom throttle body. 1.75 does not produce 950 bhp. Not quite sure where you got that from but the car is quite capable of reaching such an output.

 

Obviously we need a lot of mapping time with this but whatever happens it is a bloody quick skyline and the customer who brings us many high spec vehicles has never seen anything like it. Both myself and Andy cried like little girls when we opened it up. Next step is 2.2 bar and raise rev limit. At this point we will dyno the car to see how it is progressing. Certainly loads of potential left as Macca knows very well with his own beast. I would point out though apart from the jaw dropping noise and looks of this car. it is absolutley too much to be using as an every day car. I think Andy Barnes has pretty much come to the same conclusion with his amazing R34.

 

By the way I had a look at your own skyline. Looks very nice.

Pip at WGT based in Northwich specialises in the Mazda RX7. He has very kindly agreed to lend the use of his new 4 wheel drive rolling road in order I don`t loose my bloomin driving licence again. I think he will have it up and going in several weeks time. I have known pip for some time and look forward to doing some rolling road tuning along with Andy. I know Andy will be a hell of a lot happier than having to be a passenger in some of the cars we have done.

We bought some 350z parts from Andy and Rob. Unused parts from their 350z drifter. Absolutely top blokes. And his Blue skyline is just plain daft :p

 

He had about 3 getrag gearboxes busted in the stores, lol, i think he also had a dog box somewhere, it might have even been fitted.

 

Isn't that skyline the fastest proddy car in europe over the 1/4 mile??

Keith Cowie has a gtr32 doing 9.4 which I believe is the quickest at the moment. Although from what I know there are some even quicker times coming from that car. Hom`s skyline has done 9.6 in Dubai at 2.2bar with semi slick tyres. First 3 gears were OS Giken. He now has put in a Grex 5 speed unit. Hopefully he can punt some quick times over here with that car.

I know of an RX7 that is promising to get into the 8sec times. Crazy cars.

Very true! My car is only running 18psi and is AWESOME! Already seen off a few major players but this weekend we are going for some serious tuning and crank up the boost.

 

we wont be going any where near its limit as we only using Optimax for now,then race fuel is the next step in a few more weeks.
