I've only been here less than a year, and here is my story

 

Looking for a car......Ryan (ztech) helps me find one, and gives me advice

 

Then i burn the clutch out racing a car i shouldnt have been lol

daffyd (john barker) gets me a great price, but distance was a problem, so smithy sells me a clutch, and delivers from isle of man to my house in 19 hours

 

i attend 3 meets, and ive made some of the best friends ive ever had.

Chunk, makes me part of the club, by introducing me to everyone.

 

Then we attend japfest, and get an invite to stay at pjinhouse for nowt

this is where i make more friends again than i can think off.

 

now, ive got serious engine trouble, so Greg, drives from bristol to swansea AFTER work, to take a look....for free !!!!!!

 

confirms its fooked

so pj and jase (yami) come from somerset with a trailor to collect my car to repair the head gasket for free again

 

we now find the block is cracked, so new engine needed....

 

mantav8 is selling one, so i ask to buy it, and say ill have it in 4-6 weeks, once i get all the cash

the reply "take it now, pay later"....ive never even met this guy !

 

I really can not express how great you guys all are, and without sounding a ponce, im serioulsy touched.....

 

just from buying a car i wanted, i have met some of the most helpful people ive ever met in my life

 

and i have gained some top friends

 

pj, jase chunk and the wifes of these guys will remian friends for life i have no doubt

I agree, I've been on here for a few months and already know exactly what you mean!!!

 

The SW guys are top blokes.....PJ has already been a great help to me, Legrath and greg too!!! The rest are just really top people. Infact everyone I've met from the forum have been great. Looking forward to meeting some more guys from here.....Chunk, Vini, Hellraiser....to name but a few.

I fully agree matey, have had Mujina help me over MSN and visited me to point some bits out, Had MantaV8 helping me ALL day today on the phone trying to get my damn van running, and now my Z is trying to cook itself, I've had Mac1 (club superstar) offer to come check it out for me. I will probably never be able to repay them.

Glad its on the mend, its been looking sad in the garage lately.

LMGDFAO he has one in the workshop, that sort of went bang as well something to do with driving it at 40mph on the B4000 :xxx: :p
