Out of interest, I have a 1991 Lwb TT jap import, at the business end of the throttle cable on top of the engine it looks as though there is space for another cable. The car is running fine, I take it there is not meant to be another cable, what is the other 'cradle' for?

damn quick reply, thanks!

Instead of me starting another thread, does anyone know how to tighten a throttle cable? I've got a fair bit of slack on mine.

add some beans lol

Also, check that the throttle cable is on the throttle cam- when I checked my car it was on the wrong one, which meant the cable was a bit slack and the throttle not quite as responsive.
