Just driving home from work this afternoon in the Rav (I know, I probably deserved it  ) on a nice stretch of 60mph A-road when I drove up to a new Pug 407.

Driver was a 40-ish sales rep on the phone, driving at 45mph. A couple of cars passed in the opposite direction so when it was clear I signalled and began overtaking - perfecty safe manouver.

With a slight bend approaching and a car appearing round it I checked my left ready to pull back in only to find the complete w@nker in the Pug accelerating. I really had to nail the poor wee 4x4 as braking and ducking behind the c\/nt in the Pug was NOT a safe option.

I just made it but had to cut across the front of his car, then the fekking w@nker decides to hoot, flash and drive right on my tail.

Why do these people think they own the fekking road, and if they don't want to be overtaken by a 4x4 DON'T FEKKING DRIVE AT 45 IN A 60 ZONE WHILST ON THE PHONE. :nono:

Sorry, rant over. Just pleased I got home without a head-on colision because some c\/nt thinks he's clever.

Richard :slap:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I agree, I would have slammed my brakes on, let him go into the back of me and then claim on his insurance as he was driving too close...also the whiplash you would have got...lol...

Then twatted him...

yeah good point. you should have slammed your brakes on - he was a) tailgating you and b) on the phone while driving - a review of his calling records would have proven this to the police. he would have been screwed. w@nker

It amazes me the number of people that still use the phone whilst driving, and inevitably they're doing so without showing care and consideration for (or even awareness of) other drivers. And of course, this is yet another thing that speed cameras *don't* and *can't* catch people doing... but I'm going to restrain myself from having a huge rant about that. ;)

It makes me sick. I have gone out of my way and bought 2 Bluetooth Jabra's (handsfree) and make every effort not to use the phone when i am driving yet you see these a5ewipes in there company cars, trucks and all using the phone without a care for anyone else. I would have stuck the phone up his fookin ar5e and stabbed hes tyres T055ER.

Sorry I have a passionate hate for them.
