IMHO the best way to run in your cambelt is to have it fitted to the engine first

Somebody help me please.............i cant stop laughing, people are starting to think im weird

LMFAO

Fas

Unless your a small person I don't think you will fit in your cam bet to run in it.

Surely it will be a bit uncomfortable running in a cam belt, i guess wearing it like a belt and jogging will be the best way.

if you search you'll find the cambelt should be run in for the first 1000 miles, so try to stay off boost until then ....

shut it!!! ask a silly question and all that :D

Hark...another one of Indian ZX's bizarre threads turning into a 5 page monster!

Do I Need To Run In My Cambelt?

Most pet shops now offer extra strong hamsters for this, you just leave them in the engine overnight!!!

:smash:

Indian is just like a younger version of facial , not your younger brother by any chance fas

Remove your engine and attach hamster wheel as shown. Leave for three days (feed once a day) and then plonk it back in car. Remember to remove hamster when you put it into car.

Its a pretty important bit of work the cam-belt change so fair dos for asking the question, and also for absorbing all the shit flying your way, from myself included!

Think you should give up getting involved with boy racers and dogging in car parks myself, and maybe start reading a few books or websites or something to learn more about the Zed. Then maybe give a trackday a go or some advanced driving lessons, it will give you a new found respect for the car and show you where you are really at with your driving skills (probably not that high seeing as you are only 19). That way you won't have to crash it to learn to listen to it. Then you can build from there, its a much better place to be than maxpower chav land. You just have to come at things from a better angle, realise what you are dealing with. Dave
