Well, it all started when I saw this pic of the Abby Z. I think its a CGI but I instantly liked the 2 tone split.

My idea was to keep the same split but top half dark grey-anthracite and bottom half silver. This is a psp of what I hoped my Z might look like with that colour scheme.

I was lucky to pick up these 19" Racing Hart CX's and had them sprayed the same colour as I proposed to paint the top half of my car. I also bought Stillen skirts and a WingsWest rear.

It was then decision time as I was still debating to kit it up or just de-swage all round. I offered up the skirts to see what they would look like but it was hard to tell. Standard spoiler was coming off either way so I got that off.

It had to be the kit and 2 tone so it went off to Z Tech's bodyshop.

Some early pics looked promising.... the rear arches have been rolled and flared a little as the new wheels were poking out a bit on the rear and just didn't look right.

Then it was all done! Looking good and just ready in time for JAE. Ran out of time to fit new trim around windscreen, targa's etc and to paint wipers which was a shame but never mind. I can do it at my leisure now.

So for anyone wondering what's what, its WingsWest rear, 99 front, Stillen skirts, Veilside wing mirrors and tailgate skin. Rear wiper was removed a while ago, along with h/l panel smoothed. Aerial removed and smoothed aswell as rear reflectors in bumper. Front number plate mount removed and smoothed.

Last but not least is a BIG thanks to Luke @ Z Centre, Mac, John-Boy, Leigh (friday) and Ryan who all helped to make it happen.

Hope you like it, just the interior re-trim to finish off and a little install to erm, install and I will consider it "complete".........then I expect she will be for sale!

With my shocking knowledge of such things it's probabally not possible knock.gif

Looks dead fekking good James

I have to admit the slightly-flared arches look way way better that the "wide @rse" conversion. Much sleeker and less add-on IMO

Richard :smw:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Not generally the type of thing I'd go for. But you've done it in such a subtle and classy way. I love it, think it looks fantastic. :)

Bloody hell were the hell have I been

Just look at this, very nice James like it alot..!!!!

Jay

James mate, it looks fantastic! Just gutted I didn't get to see it in the flesh on Saturday at JAE! It's got to be so satisfying to have designed how you wanted it to look and actually make it happen! As has already been said it's eye catching but subtle at the same time...good work fella I'm well chuffed for you! :D

Leigh.
