Unlike poor Mr Turbos car, my Z has behaved itself (it is a Z, so these things are relative) so I just ordered it a lovely set of 18" three piece B.B.S LM alloy wheels.

Well mines just had a set of 19" blitz z1 wheels and a jwt pop charger also a 6.5" tft flat screen in the rear and video alpine cd changer and head unit and amps sub and speakers, grey tweed replaced with cream leather and modified door cards. veilside c2 full kit coming in january and full stainless in the summer.......oh and its just pissed through its m.o.t. so I think its had enough this year don't you!!!!!

Besides spending much of her life dozing in the garages at the moment, so keeping the mileage at a healthy 127,000 (haven't driven her for 3 weeks!!! and there's nothing wrong with her - my Disklok is going to be moulded to the steering wheel by the time I get the time to drive her again ), but despite that, she is getting the TC fitted at some point around Christmas (courtesy of Monsieur AndyP - thank you! ), new bumper, shox and springs, paintjob and hopefully new speakers as the left rear cone has blown making bass sound like someone's twanging a lacky band.

If it passes without having to sell the house or wife or both, then it might get some 19" alloys, a HKS pipe and induction and a polish!

do get the 19" alloys cos them on mine look the dogs danglies, compared to the 18" which I was contemplating.

 

After my engine has been run in, I will fit a ZEES EX cat back exhaust system.

sycho... how does your car drive? honest opinion, about 19s and how muh do they tram and track across bumps and all.

 

 

in reply to your question 300z, the car doesn't tram line any more noticeable( only went 8 1/2 inch wide rims on front), the ride is a lot harder due to running 30 series profile on rear with 10 inch wide rims and that is on standard suspension, the looks outweights the ride quality .hopr thats of some use to you

ps . the only thing I wished I had done different would be to use 9 1/2 inch rear rims as the 275 tyres don't sit as nice on the rims squarly as the front do if you know what I mean.

I fitted my poly tie-rod bushes at the weekend - talk about big cock, and a small hole! (Those that have fitted them will know what I'm talking about). Hopefully, around new year (after 2 weeks in the sun), I'll be able to drive the car again!

 

P.S I used plenty of lube, and it was STILL a tight fit.
