New 300 owner

Just registered with this forum, had my 300 for about 8months now and I love it. Decided to treat myself (mid life crisis people say, so what! I say). It's an Auto import, in great condition 45000miles (so it says) engine sounds and runs silky smooth. Hoping to learn more about the model and keep it up to scratch with the help of you guys on this forum

I had my Zed for 18 months before finding this place and she still doesn't have a problem. biggrin.gif

Welcome Locky! Now I'm glad that I didn't register with one of my nicknames which is Lucky, from my surname. It could have become slightly confusing. biggrin.gif

Locky, welcome to the forum. You find out everything you need to know about these cars from the people who post regularly and the links to other sites.

I would start with the tech section on TT net as this will give you a good solid background on the Zed such as the ECU diagnostic for example. Enjoy.

"Luke", per chance? smile.gif My surname's Anglo-Saxon and literally means "Luke's Son" - the "ett" meaning off-spring of, differentiating betwixt the father and the son. Which is the reason that Second Names were brought into play, as far too many people had the same first name, so the surname usually took on the trade of the father.

Mind you, it's not as bad as Fitz, from Fitzwilliam, Fitzgerald etc as the Fitz means "illegitimate" or the less polite-sounding "bastard".

And next week in "Boring Rambles of Ajay" the art of Orange Dressing.... biggrin.gif

You idiot you have made me laugh so much i now have the hiccups!!

If i still got them when i pick my zed up today i will be most displeased!!!!

My work here is complete.

/*Vanishes in puff of smoke - very handy teleportation devices, are puffs of smoke*/

But where are u from? That was truly amazing?

Gazes into sky far far away.........

It's a small planet, slightly left of Venus - the purply coloured one just there, (no - up a bit - that's the one), where the aardvarks are polite and left socks request permission before leaving via the washing machine. The bananas cruise at an altitude of 30 feet and the doughnuts mean it's Thursday. Beware small creatures for they eat your eyelashes on a Tuesday between the hours of 11 and 3pm unless you have a conversation with cows about the price of fish in Persia (as was) and copy Picasso art for discerning tourists on a Monday morning.

But if i ignite the split pin pigniot on my illithium side burner will it create a double wound elasto surge and send me in a reverse orbit directly around the sun 99.375 times and propel me sideways towards you whilst reading horse and hound magazine and suffering slight motion sickness and disorientation in the worst degree, i ask myself ' am i still a giraffe? ' or am i just plain stripy plaint walking up the down part of a mountain less that 1000 ft high on the way to tecos to buy an exhaust for my pushbike yesterday?

OUCH!!! is that a kiwi in my turbo? oups god darn loughborough fruit bats always car wrecking!!!!

Oh how the uninitiated laugh at the bi-weekly pastry beautification manoeuvre which is along the same lines as the griaffe sketch that was featured in last week's "Crustacean and Comet Weekly". Along the same lines, but obviously the bi-polar unit measurement for small tweaks needs to be inserted left side first otherwise the cringing gloop that is the gnat's biscuits on a Wednesday and purely judgemental on a Friday pm after ripping napkins into confetti (it being December), would come into play. And no one wants that, least of all the window panes who are doing their best not to pogo stick from the premises and catch the first flying orangutang that they see. Although the orangs have been having difficulty getting hold of the flying carpets - the mushrooms don't like parting with them and to be honest, the sand is none too happy about the filtration system required on the brakes.

Welcome to the Loonie bin Locky Stocky and Two Smoky Barrelly wink.gif

As for the Zedster and Ajay: DONT EVER do psychedelic drugs for goodness sake smile.gif

PeaceV
