Anybody know if these were standard or an option?

Quite liked the look of them. They are sort of solid softish rubber in black.

Quite chunky - are they an import thing?

There were an optional extra the same as leather. Out of all the Zs we have owned/dismantled none had these mudflaps and were all imports. IMO these are rare

rare and ugly, im glad there arent more of these tbh :p

I agree - I think they look good but everyone to their own.

You can see them fitted to my car if you have a look in the rides section - I'm about No. 35ish I think. (or click on the little white car on the left)

 

Had them colour co-ordinated as well
