Was working on a building site on thurs and came out to my van to find one of my headlights had been smashed, had to work long hours on fri and didnt have time to have it fixed, did a delivery at 2 this morning and had only gone about 2 miles when i got pulled. Conversation went something like this:

 

Cop. Good evening sir is this your vehicle?

 

Me. Yes officer, is something wrong?

 

cop. yes sir youve only got one headlight working

 

Me. I know officer, I only noticed it about an hour ago, (LIAR!!) ill get it repaired first thing tomorrow.

 

Cop. Nevertheless sir you shouldnt be on the road with only one headlight

im afraid im going to have to book you. (Ba**ard said this with smug look on face)

 

He pulled out his notebook and started writing out a producer, at which point i noticed something over his shoulder, and said:

 

Me. when you give me that ticket does it have your badge number on it?

 

cop. Yes sir it does.

 

Me. and it will have details of the offence? which you say makes me a danger on the road.

 

cop. yes sir (Smug look again)

 

Me. Are you aware officer that you also have headlight not working?

 

 

His face was a fooking picture :D :D

 

No producer given and allowed to rush home and hide under the bed, Made me late with a delivery but I wouldnt mind being late all week for just 1 photo of the look on the smug ba**ards face :D :D :D :D

I don't need to tell you how smug they can be obviously. But About 2 months back I was pulled on my bike and told off for haveing my headlight on in the daylight. (not main beam)

I said "you obviously don't ride a bike then do you?"

He said (smug as usual) "whats that got to do with it"?

So I told him to write me a ticket and you will soon find out.

He didn't. He told me it was just a warning. But he did look puzzled when I rode off.

only got lucky once with cops , was pulled for speeding ,, was in me dads van at time , if not for fact twat in a supra mk1 or 2 shape came barrling past us over 70 on a 40 mph carrige way i would of bin nicked for doing 50 in a 40 , ,bastids, dont no if they caught him as i went other way as he said its your lucky day ,,
