Has anyone got a picture or can point me in the right direction of how to pressurise the intake system. I have got a leak somewhere I think which is giving me an irratict tick over & stalling problem. I'v heard there is an easy way of checking this. Any advice would be greatfully received ;)

something about spraying carb cleaner on the vacuum lines and connections with the engine idling, if the revs rise then you have found your leak. i think thats right

Ive also been told you can spray Cif Oxygel on the hoses and it bubbles when it hit a leak, cleans your engine too. Did try this and could not locate my boost leak LOL.

because it momentarily seals the leak... you'd need a fairly good idea where the leak is though as you need to spray slowly until you find the right point.

hi mate--to make a boost leak detecter is so simple, iff you know anyone with a lathe get them to turn a piece of ally into a disk so it fits into maf intake, its gorra have a hole drilled into middle to accept a wheel valve(glued in so no leaks),have the disk about half n inch thick.put into maf intake, pump up with a foot or hand pump to about 5 psi and listen for the leaks around engine and under bumper

send all donations for this idea to brian@thelocalpubforadrink.com

ps---or just go and buy one ;)
