just took off my stillin mate,it srews into the bottom of wheel arch, has 2 fixings under number plate recess, and allong the full lenght it fixes to the original bumper with that double sided sticky strip stuff (was a bazted to get off)---ide get it painted then fit it,that way the paint shop has your bumper for 6 months, not your car

as the over bumper is fibreglass , will it not crack the paint if i have it sprayed then try to fit ???, also as i have the original bumper on at the moment, how do i know where to drill the holes to attach the over bumper??as there are no holes or markings at all on the overbumper

If i'm not mistaken the primer used on bumpers etc will be flexible to a degree, so it shouldn't be a problem, I would have thought the overbumper should be test fit before spraying and all the drilling done at that stage, that will minimise the handling when it has been painted.

Got to say its only my opinion I'm not a body shop guy.

when I fitted my rear veilside bumper which was fibreglass, I fixed it in the numberplate recess at the bottom of the arches but found the corner of the bumper on each side started to sag so I made up a couple of brackets and fibreglassed them to the inside of the overpiece bumper on the corners then drilled and riveted it from the inside of the origional bumper

hi mate did u spray it on or off the car ??

I made sure I was happy wite the fitment then had it sprayed on the car, was thinking due to it being two piece and verry flexible its bound to crack down the joint trying to fit it
