I don't drive my Zed often these days (weekend car) and I'm on my third battery in as many years! Just wondered what the possible causes of battery discharge may be. If I jump start and drive the car, it will happily charge the battery and subequently starts ok. After a day or so in the garage however, it's flat again :(

Car has a recently fitted Toad i606 Alarm and average ICE setup. Is there anything I can test for/eliminate from the possible suspects?

i think most problems with dead batteries is alarms/immobilisers draining them

Steve, mine sits on the drive for a fortnight at times while I do bits and bobs but always[touching wood]starts first crack. It has a clifford fitted which is always armed-so this shouldn't be your problem, unless the alarm has an exceptionally high current drain/fault?also check ALL interior lights go off including the boot!

HTH.

or you can get a small device which will keep your battery topped up (goes between a charger and your battery), not sure if that would affect your alarm though.
