Mine arrived this morning too.. Now just to figure out how to use that FAST CD

It does work but aint user friendly, if you are still stuck ill try and post some more info later, bit busy now trying to sort a f****** b****** ISDN connection problem.

Eric, originator of all this good stuff has sucessfully got it working in the past. (on W2K as well), to save him extra pain I'll post the tips he sent me earlier this year.

 

Andy, the way I've set it up under w2k is as follows:

installed the software on a machine running nt4 (another machine)...it creates a dir called c:\nissan

did the manual trick with copying the ini-file and running FAST setup (from startmenu)

Got it working there.

Then I copied this complete dir over to my w2k-machine (also to c-drive)

along with the 2 ini-files from the winnt-dir (nsfastky.ini, nsfastws.ini)

 

on my w2k-machine I have a M-drive (local harddrive), where I also created a directory "nissan".

Into this directory I copied the large files that are on the cd. (just so I don't need the CD to run the program)

 

Maybe this works for you..

you can download my (working) c:\nissan-directory from here: http://300zx-twinturbo.com/temp/Nissan.zip

(extract it to the root of your c-drive)

 

use the attached ini-files and drop those 2 into your winnt-dir (edit the paths in the ini-file if necesarry)

I changed the "m:\nissan" to "d:\" (which is my cd-drive with the FAST-cd) and it worked,

so it should work for you as well.

The final trick I used to make it work was to select EL (European LHD) rather than ER. Dunno why, but it may make sense that Eric would have a LHD version ....

 

Like I said before - a 'run from CD' version would be an absolute winner !
