Had a great day,but a little cold, wind was wicked at times, nice to meet all,new and not so new members, all i can say is how bloody great the turn out was and so bloody good times on the strip, i have never seen so many Zs running such good times in 5 years or so,and Jaffa and Chunk, take a bow lads, brillint times,Jaffa(fastest i ever seen  ) around 12.6,Chunk around 13.2,and other good times from all that went out,the times are certainly getting lower every time peeps attend the Pod in their

Zs,sorry have no pics as yet as used 35m camera, sure others will have, once again well done to every one involved, and to Kirbz for sortin the Pass's.

great day out, nice to see loads of cars in the 10s and 11s, and next time we need a bigger section as we were over flowing!

Spec on mine is 91TT, SWB, hardtop, intake, chip, exhaust(blowing badly), UD pulley, HKS twinplate clutch & flywheel, 1 bar boost, shortshifter, knackered suspension, GD subframe spacers, and stock UK rear alloys with 26x11.5x16 Mickey Thomson ET Streets.

Most of the US guys use 26x10.5.16, but they weren't in the country, so went with the 11.5's, it's a bit tight, but I had no rubbing, even with 1.5" drop.

times were 12.64 @ 107 with 1.9 60' , and also more promising

13.0 at 111 with a 2.2 60'. Definately more time to be had there, as well as playing with the tyre pressures.

one more thing, not bad for a car that was stock just over a month ago, and having the boost controller set up on the M1 on the way up to the pod. All good fun, but realised when getting off the motorway I'd used almost all my fuel!

Very well done chaps.

If I hadn't had the kids this weekend, then I'd have come down. But then i couldn't have run it, as it's still running crap at the mo. You never know, maybe next year.........

Yeah t'was a great day  Only got 2 runs as my petrol light had been on for a while, and I thought I'd let Chunk have some glory ;)

Best time was a PB of 13.321@108.67mph, first run was 13.460 @ 108.23mph. 60ft times were pretty poor so I know I'll have ya next time Chunkster ;)

Cheers to Mike for organising a great day  Cheers to Santa Pod for the 1.5hour exit

Pete

Great times fellas. Wish I could have been there as well! :(

Thats why me and chris left at 3ish we got pretty much straight out, got stuck for about 15 mins on the road outside but then no probs.

Had a play with some 200's on the toll road (private bit!!) me and chris enjoyed really pi55ing a guy off who was trying to weave in and out of traffic on the M6 so we kept him behind us for a good 10 miles

Did anyone get any pics of the convoy?? i hope so as it was nice to meet up and go in the pod all together (well nearly all)

Some others

Big UP to lady smallfry, I thought she looked cool in that machine. Drove it well too :D

Must agree it was a cracking day even though we did bugger off a bit early to beat the crush. Must have been a real eye opener for others seeing all our Zeds in the outside lane scaring all the mere mortals

Better still was the detour through a service station eh chunk, we thought you were trying to lose us all .

See most of you again at the new sunday meet once chunks sorted the venue :duffer:

Thanks guys for the drive on the way down, here are some pics that we took on the M6 :xxx:

It was a great day, really enjoyed the quarter mile action, I beat my fastest previous time by .9 of a second and my top speed by 22 mph. I also halved my reaction times. Can't wait till next time, hopefully I will make it to the services next time

Erm yeah, well i thought it was shell, fekkin crappy BP, and i still had to put BP in cos the next bastiding garage was BP

So there's another .2 i let you off shrimpy

Nice to Chat with Lady Smallfry in the Queue aswell, and well done on the PB.

I saw a few Supras on the strip...

I really couldn't be fagged queueing - is it normally that bad? I saw Adam get into the queue - meanwhile I went for lunch for what must have been half an hour, faffed about for another quarter of an hour, and then he was only just launching!

You must have really tonked it up the toll road to catch me up - I was following a Merc at 110 most of the way along it. I stopped for a pee at the new services but even so, you'd stopped for fuel earlier, so we were on the road about the same amount of time.

What is it about toll plazas that brings the red mist down when you're pulling away again? :D

I think the missus took a couple of the convoy on the way down...

i dont know what it is about the toll plaza :) i just feel the need to drop the hammer and do a burn out from them :D

I did tonk it for a bit think i got upto about 160 at one point :slap:
