i found a note under the wiper informing me that they had witnessed another car driving into my front offside bumper (whilst my zed was parked up) and would be prepared to be a witness for any claim lodged...now what i wanted to ask is what is behind/under this section...my local mech will put it up on the ramps next week so any pointers/thoughts would be handy the bumper is marked up but no cracks apparent...90 jap tt auto stock

cheers in advance

Behind the offside there is an intercooler and the washer bottle. Don't think theres anything else there but maybe someone who has had the bumoper off will contradict me on this.

the support panel is directly behind the front of the bumper & is prone to cracking if its a fairly hard impact

I hit a Landrover at about 20mph, the near side front hit his off side rear bumper and went under it.

It broke my headlight, creased the top of the wing and fekked my bumper.

Luckily when the old bumper was removed there was no damage underneath and the new bumper just bolted straight on.

I used it as an opportunity to get the 1999 spec front end - IMO the best looking bumper for the ZX

Mike Feeney supplied all the parts to the bodyshop - top man :hyper:

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

cheers...for all the above

i wonder what will happen if the paint man cant match the rest of the faded panels...total respray for the claim maybe?
