It depends if you are getting the rest of the exhaust done I think. I had de-cat pipes made for £35 when I was having the rest of the exhaust done. Thanks to advice off here I went ahead with it. It made a difference but I am not sure how much as the exhaust was all changed at the same time from stock. They welded in nuts to hold the temperature sensors and this has been nothing but a pain, as the sensors rattle when accellerating and nothing I try will get them to sit tightly in the hole.

Theres a guy on Angelsy who made my whole system(minus de cat pipes) for about £300,all SS and a good job too.

Give us a ring on 01492 583411 if your interested.

getgreddy does some nice stainless down pipes that does away with the cats, might have a dabble myself in the not so near future

Try the Z centre. £180+vat for a pair of downpipes bypassing the cats. According to my AP22 (performance meter), they yielded about 15-20 bhp when fitted to my car which already had a straight through exhaust and filter.

had a set of de-cat pipes from the Z centre cost 220 plus vat sound awesome as have HKS super dragger on the rear gained 22 bhp and being an import dont need the cats on for the mot

and being an import dont need the cats on for the mot

doesnt make any difference whether its an import or a UK.

in fact imports are more likely to need them, as its only 95 on that will need a cat test ;)
