Just a few stories of Z ownership that IMO

make it all worthwhile................

 

1/ Pulling up outside my local Spar shop to

the usual "Cor look at that" from the

kids hanging around, especially when the

Porsche i pulled up next to was getting

no attention whatsover, one very £60k

pissed off Porshe driver i can tell you!

 

2/ Washing the car on the drive and a lady

passed by with her 7/8 year old son, when

he turned to his mum and said "That`s a

Fairlady that is" how the F*ck does he

know that? The power of Playstation i

suppose?

 

3/ Having de badged my Zed the only give away

is a Nismo badge on the rear tailgate lens

stopped at traffic lights you can see

people in the car behind physically

straining themselves to make out what it

is, imagine the scene when this young girl

turned to her boyfriend and i lip read her

saying "it`s a Nismo" LMFAO.

 

4/ Taking my car to Harry`s for an MOT and

watching the mechanics fighting over

which one gets the job and watching

them not knowing what their looking at

so they pass it anyway.

Sorry to bring this to the top of the list but just had to provide a follow up comment.

 

As some of you know, I have only had my Z for a few weeks now. My Z is the fastest thing I've driven so you can imagine my absolute delight and pant wetting excitement as a Scooby was forced to allow me past this morning on the way to work.

 

....You'd think that, that was enough. NO. He wanted more so I just "left him there".

 

If I am bragging over nothing and you are all sitting there reading this going "Yawn - yeah bin' there done that", then please tell me cause I feel that a Scooby is quite a feat.

 

However, on the way back from work, tried my luck with a big bike with a man in a leather suit on it. I wasn't quite as successful there but......SURPRISE....NOT!

what's a scooby? scooby doo? lol

 

the assortment of cars in the US sucks!

Subaru Imprezza not sure if available in the US, 2.0 Litre turbo 4 wheel drive "Rally derived car"

the new ones look like a hyundai...but with a turbo.

 

it wind's my mate up to call his (old model) wrx a "turbo hyundai"...it's very fast, but a bit tacky inside.

You can get Scoobys in the US, but I don't think they import the f-off versions. My boss has bought the boring version for his wife and reckons even that is OK.

it's complete conjecture, but i heard that the newer scooby is less hot.

 

i.e.

the old wrx = fast

the new wrx = fastish & looks ass

 

the jap wrx does pull in any gear at almost any speed. it is quite indecently fast. 280bhp in a 2 litre car is good work imho

 

still looks and feels like a hyundai though ;o)
