Seeing that british guy win the boxing medal at the olympics has re-started an old argument here....

If Prince Nassem had a fight with the tougest bouncer from a city-centre 'Yatses' (or similar bar), who wins? And how?

(sorry, have started drinking tonite)

There's rules in boxing, alot of doormen know at least one martial art, if not, they are just physically big, and powerful. Nassem and THE TOUGHEST BOUNCER, got to be the bouncer i'd say.

There was a time when Prince Nassem who at the time was the world champion, had a bit of a punch up with Chris Eubank, who at the time had not boxed for a few years, in an airport. Apparently Chris Eubank, who was quite a few weights heavier, pasted him.

Bouncer as little NAS is far too small to mix it with a real tough doorman.

I bet Eubank would give any bouncer a right kicking though.

Bet it was funny though!

Id love just 1 hit on Eubank

whatta :xxx:

Hey just though........................... Not all boxers play by the rule book,I know a guy that was a doorman and Nigel Ben hit him over the head with a bottle WHY?

Cos boxing is a sport and thier hands are classed as dangerous weapons!! so if he had punched him he would be well in the s*** and prob get banned from boxing, cracking him with a bottle is ok though as far as the boxing bod's are concerned.

LMFAO You can't know any laws of self defence then.

ABH with your fists not too bad

GBH with intent (bottle) Oh dear

talking from a boxing point of view not a law point of veiw, he was prob more worried about career than anything else, or just to p***ed to care!

it does not matter about size it matters what you are prepared to sacrfice to meet your goals, but a jifi lemon bottle full of amonia and a craft knife bring any one down to size :nono:

PMSL That all depends if you get in in his eyes,if you miss and hit his shoulder the run like fook lol;)

Doesnt everyone flatten Nassem these days

his career has took a biger dive than Michael Barrymore's :D

I was a boxer when i was younger and trust me the boucer would kill him (well they did me) totally different rules and methods. The fact that i was 10 stone and the average boucer is 17 stone plus comes into it. I could have hit a bouncer all night probably and still would not have hurt him it is phsyicall size and strength and nas just wouldt have it and he would probaly say so himself if he owned a z.

dont know about hamed vs a bouncer... but i did hear from a quality witness that hamed did once get in to a bit of a scuffle in a sheffield night club... hamed actually told his minders to leave off as this guy was trying to swing for him. hamed without throwing a punch just ducked and dived this guy who was trying to hit him unil he gave up!!!

Manyways to skin a cat,go for the throat is always a good one they soon stop ducking and diving bobing and weaving,as dvd said no rules in a street fight;)

Oh and for the record I started boxing when I was 10 years old;)

different tack here.....would say the fittest male gymnast out gun the bouncer...them guys who do the rings and vaulting etc are built like trucks...agile and very strong

Same goes for though Ballet dancers!!!!

See a guy in a pub/night club, getting stick off a load off biker guy's so took

them all out side and pasted the lot of em

Seams that lifting all though's chick's above your head and jumping about

does the trick!

Unbelieveable upper body strength!

Well speaking personally as a bouncer myself Id be too embarrassed to take on someone as tiny as him.

Guys next time u see him fight or look at a re-run look how high he is compared to the ropes and the ref. Hes tiny, he fights the fly or bantamweights I think.

On a serious note, Im a 2nd Dan in Wado Ryu Karate, an art ive practiced since I was 6 (im 30 now) and the guys I look out for on the door are the Boxers as they are clever fighters and know how to hit. I work in Colchester the home of the Paras and It take one of them on in preference to a boxer anytime.

I always watch myself when coming up against a boxer to ensure I come out on top!

do you know Vic Charles??

iv been up to his old club in london many times. he comes down to our club every 6 weeks or so.

top bloke & an amazing karateka that i have masses of respect for

My 2p's worth. Having boxed for 10 years and worked the door for 12, a boxer is there to score technical points within strict rules. A doorman is there to remove a threat anyway he can.

No contest.

Rot, you just hit the nail on the head! :mac1:

Lets face it. its gonna come down to each individual.

weve had bouncers down our club that cant fight for toffee :mac1: most seem to rely on their rep as being a bouncer, or the fact that they are a little bigger than most.

that doesnt mean im trying to imply that no bouncer can fight. just the same as many boxers are good street fighters.

its all down to the individual ;)
