Targa blinds - leave them in place or leave them out?

If I leave the targa blinds out, will the interior fade or deteriorate or anything from the sunshine? Should I keep them fitted most of the time?

Any thoughts?

Cheers folk.

Your targa glass panels are 'checked' anyway, so, in affect they already have a degree of diffusion built in. But as there is a hell of a lot more glass area in the car anyway, i cant see leaving the blinds in is going to make much more significance.

You're best removing them and sending them to me

Take them off and put them in the boot.

Sometimes I take them off as it makes the inside of the car car nice and bright. But sometimes the sun just blinds you and I put them back on.

I like the blinds being on too as it gives the car more of an enclosed sporty look. It also hleps keep the temperature down.

I tend to take them off in the winter and on during the summer

Same here, mine are on at the moment.

In the summer its best to have the roof off anyway, even in Feb I had the roof off!!! personal choice but if your cars outside in the sun all day best keep them on to stop the sun boiling your interior.

I leave mine off, i like the feeling of space personally,

id rather enjoy the car and have a slightly faded interiour (which mine isnt due to correct leather treatment) than not enjoy the car.

Along the same lines...

Curtains.

Open or Closed?

I find I get more light in during the day with them open but at night people can see in so I usually close them.

What is this forum coming to?! :mac1:

Light on or off?

Personally i like to keep the light on as the dog tends to sleep on the bed sometimes and that could get compicated. :)

this is beginning to sound like Harry Hill and his lets ask the audience

i quote the man "ok..so we have some yes....and some no...just what i thought"

PMSL  you lot are nutters,Ok who turns off the interior light because it attracts moths?

I switch off the headlights to avoid attracting the attention of rabbits - I don't want to run over a bunny :(

Surely if your not vertically challenged your head brushes the blinds when they're in place? Mine did thats why I sold them!

I had all sorts of problems until I found the height adjust on the seat. :D
