My mates yellow 300ZX has been stolen this morning at about 5am from the neasden area of north west London!!!

 

We've just come back from the police station after reporting it!!!

 

I just want every1 to keep a look out for suspicious looking zeds or parts that are quite rare from this ZX!!!

 

Iv attached some pictures.

 

It had Tein suspension (coloured green) from the pictures you can make out the alloys and the Stillen type 3 bodykit. Its in yellow, which is quite a rare colour!!!

 

Full black and yellow leather interior, tv screen. This car does stand out!!!

 

If any1 can help in anyway it will be appreciated!!! If any1 starts selling parts that are from this car or something!!!

 

Me and my mate are devastated!!! It had a Cat1 Meta alarm and immobilisor and we cant understand how it got stolen!!! They broke the front windows to get into the car!!

I have a META M36-99 immobilser and alarm and it is totally shit. I actually managed to get in through the boot, and into the back seats with out the alarm going off, it only went off when I was moving into the front of the car I could lean from the back of the car and touch the radio without it going off. Some one bust my car door handle without it going off, and some one tampered with the boot without it going off. Totally shit and META didnt want to know.

 

I have more confidence in my steering lock than the alarm.

 

Gutted about the car though. Will keep an eye open for it.

Im just shocked, in reality iv been told that if a person wants to steal your car he will and theres not much you can do!!!

Not even tracker can help as theres technology which can block the signal from the tracker unit on the car which is done by a small black box that is placed on the vehicle!!!

Im thinking of getting a CCTV unit outside my home to monitor the car and get one of those big steering wheel locks that covers the whole steering wheel!!!

 

Im starting to think whats the point!!!

Even if you had CCTV and it got stolen they police wouldnt do too much. Some one broke into my car at work and it was caught on camera and the police didnt do any thing. It took the 2 weeks before they came and took a copy of the tape, and that was after a few phone calls to them asking what are they doing about it.

I'd have said it would be exactly the type of thing that would be taken for a joy ride - if it was too east to break into.

 

There's a certain element out there who are very envious of anything remotely 'flash' and a canary yellow zed kind of fits that description! Fit top quality security - it's the only deterent.

I hate to see that happen. :mad:

 

IMO The thieving to$$ers should face a much harsher punishment if caught, rather than the slap on the wrist currenty metered out. Some form of corporal punishment or public humiliation, eg the stocks or public flogging. Better still, let the victim of their crime and a couple of mates loose on them with baseball bats for 10 minutes.

 

Unfortunately there are too many bleeding-heart liberals wailing about human rights for that to ever happen. And that is if they are caught anyway. The police are too pre-occupied persecuting motorists today to worry about real criminals :rolleyes: (Although not through their own fault, they too are victims of government think-tanks green lobbies and anti-car activists :mad: )

 

Sorry to rant off subject, slightly but if there was a real deterrant we wouldn't suffer this kind of crime or need to spend hundreds on car security. It works in far-eastern countries FFS :confused:

Get a full disc lock. I got one since my car saw stolen years ago. They are about £70 from Halfords but I have seen them for £40 in Costco.

I agree, the courts are too soft on criminals over here. Do you remember about 7 years ago in Singapore when an American teenager vandalised a few BMW's? He was sentenced to about 50 or 60 floggins with the birch. Political pressure reduced it to about 10 or 15 I think. Birching over there draws blood and causes severe injury, requiring hospitalisation. Now, if they adopted that here crime would definately fall.

Im defianetly beefing up the security on my car, im going to go get a disk lock like the 1 srrae has mentioned and possibly de-lock it and fit reinforced window tints to the zed!!!

 

Im gonna try and persuade my mate to buy another Zed but i think he may not want to get 1 as he may get scared it will get pinched again!!!

 

I say bring back corporal punishment!!! How else can we keep our belongings safe!!!
