I don't like it on other forums, I'm staying here I think from now on...they even know about the pic on Johnnys site that says "Scotts FTO" which actually is a pic of a Soup Dragon...LOL!

 

Do like their format though, very posh but they criticise you all the time for the smallest niggly thing that you say outta place...unlike us looneys on 'ere!

Hey GuyZ,

 

Keep it friendly I am not surprised at all that there is a gap between the 300 owners and the supra owners to be honest!!! From what I've seen since trax it has just been one slagging session between us and them - ffs it's like being back in the playground We're even starting to fight between ourselves now!!! We've already lost one member and its looking like there's gonna be more upset to come at this rate so lighten up!!! I can see why they got upset Tim - there's already a bit of bad feeling between the two groups as it is without waltzing in there and instantly being over-friendly (that's the best way I can describe it). If this forum turns into a place to slag each other off we will loose it so........ I like this place, it's friendly and there are lotz of people willing to give advice but if we loose it........ You know what I'm getting at I don't want to fall out with anyone on here but just wanted to put my point before its too late!

If *any* public forum (and yes it is a public forum as anyone can actually post here) starts to breed within itself any form of censorship, either enforced or suggested then it ceases to serve any purpose.

I may or may not agree with someones sexist/racist/bigotted/uneducated post, but I would never question their right to post it.

The internet is about EVERYONES freedom to express themselves howsoever.

And for what it is worth I just read thru the thread on mkivsupra.net and I didnt think anyone said anything out of order anyway.

I may go over there myself and say the word FUCK, as that is my right.

Anyway, the language isn't the point I was making - if we want to reap the benefits of higher numbers by inviting the rest of the jap cars along, we shouldn't be pissing them off!!! I didn't say it was a matter of freedom of speech or anything, I was just saying keep it friendly

For starters Mr. Branner, unless otherwise mentioned on the particular thread you mention, I didn't see any evidence that Emma or Fran were any of "your birds" as you put it! Which means that if I directed a question at them it had bugger all to do with you mate. If I walked into a pub and you were stood in the vicinity of them at the bar and I walked over and started talking to them, what right have you got to pipe up into the conversation?

 

So effectively you may have your opinion which is great, but aren't you really making a fuck off mountain out of a mole hill here?

 

Those girls choose, like anyone else, to participate in the forum discussions...you advertise your chat area as "(almost anything goes!)", I strongly suggest that if you don't want to mislead people into thinking that is the case...you change the description of that particular area to something more definitive.

 

I did post relevant posts to some of your other BBS members on other areas and I think you'll find if you check that those post are quite dignified!
