Just in case anyone is interested I have found a source of very cheap discs.

However it is the usually story, to make the purchase worthwhile I need to know how many people are interested.

To get you started here is what they look like:

sportdisk.gif

Slotted and X-drilled for the front.

....and

Slotted for the rear.

Now for the price.

£150 for all four discs.

If you would like to know more please leave a reply below or (better) email me a mwalton@35sigs.com.

Warren, mate,

Seeing the last couple of posts about the Brembo disks and EBC pads, should I order them from Kevin at 3g direct and is the £350 all in still a goer?

Geez you guys we're only a link away.... why not get some Aussie input? smile.gif

Ok, first off, yes DBA used to have some problems, these are now solved, and yes the disks are ventilated.

I recently did a lot of research into DBA disks for track use, and from the general vibe I get, they are largely to look pretty and not up to track use. They are fine, however, for the street. I think they are an excellent disk for the money, but if you plan to really, really abuse them then stay away.

Here's a useful little link for y'all:

Oh yeah, one more thing (oops). DBA rotors are actually resold as Stillen rotors (the gold ones) which you guys are probably aware of. Now compare the prices smile.gif

Ben

Where's your source of info on this? Stillen makes their rotors in-house and has the cadmium plating done locally (Southern California).
