Over the last couple of weeks I have noticed a faint whistle that rises with engine speed. It doesn't do it all the time and there appears to be no pattern (engine hot, cold etc etc).

I realised it was only inside the car as it couldn't be heard with windows down (phew, not the turbos:) )

I turned down the stereo to hear it better and switched a/c off to see if it was the motor. Not that

However when I turned the stereo vol. to zero, it stopped. Found it!!!:)

Just turning vol to 1 (ie not able to hear radio), the whistle returned.

It does it with some CDs not others and some radio stations, not others.

Any suggestions?

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
