You said a while ago about trying to sort out club insurance and I was just wondering how this was going?

it'd be great if we could get some sort of discounted insurance scheme for our club in place.

It'd be another great benefit to us all since the 're-organisation' :D

Cooliio :cool: . Cheap insurance. But I bet my arse that we won't get any. Other clubs having been trying to get down this road for ages, but I guess they give up too easy.

I spoke to Norton recently about my own insurance and the guy did mention that they covered a couple of other owners clubs, including Z Club.

I sent Norton a lengthy email and am just waiting their reply but didn't want my waste my time if Ajay is in the middle of something..........

i am now insured with norton - and they said they had 25 inquiries and were giving club discounts - oh yeh i must join:D

I will be wanting my car on a second car policy when all the work is finished so Im hoping something is set up by then.

This would be superb if we could get it up and running, but talking to Steve B, he's mentioned that the Z-club have tried a few times to get special deals, and I don't think that any insurer has ever considered them to have enough members .. and, if there's only 120 of us ... I don't hold out much hope. :(

 

However, I will defer until Neet speaks, and delivers the glad/bad tidings .. :D

Well AndrewG has taken this up. As john-boy said, it won't be an easy task but definatley worth a go.

they may not give us any useful discount, but it may help them to take us seriously and give us a quote (usually low from them anyway) despite lots of mods etc...ie. make them more trusting of us, which is what insurance is all about.;)

Just to let you know.

 

I have been in communication with the director of an insurance company, who say they are willing to come to some sort of arrangement with us!

Sorry, been really hectic here of late.

 

Have rung a few companies and a couple have said that they are willing to "look into" doing a deal with us. However, I have some more contacts, so will carry on and get the best deal possible.

This sounds interesting. You think they will include the Japanese imports?

I hope so because that's about 60% of us :D
