For years now everyone has (quite rightly) criticised the illumination (lack of).

Anyone ever thought about changing lights & surrounding bodywork by removing OEMs and setting up say 'pop up lights' from an MR2, MX7 or something like that???? Just wondered what the front would look like????

Didn't know whether it was possible or if there would be enough room....

Most of the ones I've seen seem to consist of sticking 'patches' over the existing headlights.....

Take your point about the 200sx though.

Oooh no ... I don't think pop-up lights are your man at all ... after all, the Z32 was probably a major trend setter in the move away from such horrors!!

 

However, you're quite right to mention the lack of lights produced by the OEM beauties! :)

 

I would suggest trying some of the fine super-ice-white bulbs offered by PIAA click here

Or you've got the complete upgrade to Xenon (?) lights is it called, about £500. Actually seen these and they look superb.

do you know how much a system like that weighs as opposed to stock lights/? :D:D Call you captain contradictory from now on :D

I do, however think the 300 lights are 1 of it's most distinctive and cool features so wouldn't wanna change them ;)

I know but you get better light from them compared to stock 300 lights. Motors don't weight that much do they ??

?? I dont understand, the lights on my zed are okay, sure they don't illuminate much of the ground but that has never caused me a problem.

I'd rather stay in at night!!!!

Yeah I quite liked those BUT Silvia/SE Nissan never got back to me when I asked for more info. But looking at some of the posts on the forum that doesn't seem unusual .....:confused: :mad:

Any good bodyshop can get any lights to fit a Z,Now just look at this Pug 306,NO THANKS!:rolleyes:

anybody got a number for SE. i like the quads. been wanting those for ages. heard they are really expensive though

I thought Z's all had yellow lights, havnt seen another one yet at night.

They look really cool too but i dont think you can see very well on this pic.

From the picture it looks like the OEMs have been removed? Does the £495 include the lights as well? Take it it's fibre glass???
